Brian Scott Faulkner

Brian Scott Faulkner, 47, of Blue Springs, Mo., passed away peacefully Friday, Sept. 1, 2023 at Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence, Mo.
 
He was born June 3, 1976 in Wilmington to Walter “Dale” and Delores (Sturgill) Faulkner.

Brian was a 1994 graduate of Greeneview High School in Jamestown. He was united in marriage to Deidra Kay Daugherty on Sept. 6, 1997 in Greenfield. Brian spent his working career as a warehouse logistics for Zoetis in Kansas City, Mo.

He was a member of Light House Church in Blue Springs. Brian enjoyed riding motorcycles, traveling, roller skating and watching the Food Network channel. Above all, Brian cherished spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his loving wife, Deidra Kay Faulkner of Blue Springs, Mo.; children, Dakota Michael Faulkner and Marisa Jordan Faulkner of Blue Springs, Mo.; mother, Delores Jean Faulkner of Bowersville; siblings, Loranda “Lori” Lynn Barnhart and husband Rick of Jeffersonville, Dwain Allen Faulkner of Bowersville and Michelle Leigh Faulkner of Xenia; sisters-in-law, Donetta Cowman and husband Tim of South Salem and Danielle Webb and husband J.R. of Chillicothe, brother-in-law, Derrick Daugherty of South Salem; and several nieces and nephews. 

Brian was preceded in death by his father, Dale Faulkner.

Memorial service will be Thursday, Sept. 14 at 2 p.m. at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield with Mark Haile officiating. Burial of cremains will follow in the Maple Grove Cemetery in Port William.

Visitation will be Thursday from noon until 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
