7 OU student-athletes earn College Football Network preseason First-Team All-MAC recognition
Seven Ohio University football student-athletes were named to College Football Network's preseason First-Team All-MAC, as announced by the organization Aug. 1.
In total, 16 Bobcats were recognized, with graduate student quarterback Kurtis Rourke (Oakville, Ontario, Canada), redshirt sophomore running back Sieh Bangura (Bowie, Md.) and graduate student defensive end Kwame Sutton (Gaffney, S.C.) earned individual recognition.

The Bobcats are set to open the 2023 season on Saturday, Aug. 26 when they take on the San Diego State Aztecs. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT on FS1 at Snapdragon Stadium in San Diego, Calif. Homecoming is set for Saturday, Oct. 7 against the Kent State Golden Flashes.
