The Whiteoak Wildcats played an away game on their home field for the second time this season, and had the same result as they defeated the Peebles Indians, 12-1 in six innings in Southern Hills Athletic Conference action.
The Wildcats scored two runs in the top of the first, followed by a three-run third inning, three runs in the fourth, one run in the fifth and three runs in the sixth inning.

Peebles scored a run in the fifth inning.
“We just went to work today and did what we had to do. Chase Butler gave us five quality innings, and Ryan Roberts went an impressive one inning to finish up,” WHS head coach Chris Veidt said. “Traeten Hamilton and Mason Lehr led the hit parade with three hits each.
“It was good to get Zach Harless going in the two slot with 5-for-5 quality at-bats today, and having 13 stolen bases is always fun.”
Traeten Hamilton finished 3-for-5 with three run and two steals. Zach Harless went 2-for-3 with three runs, one RBI, two walks and two steals. Mason Lehr finished 3-for-4 with two runs, three RBI, one double, one walk and two steals.
Evan Brill scored one run and had one RBI, plus two walks and one steal. Ty Large went 1-for-3 with one run, two RBI, with one double.
Ryan Roberts finished the game at 1-for-2 with one run, one walk and three steals. Trey Bogart was hit by a pitch, and Billy Oliver finished with one hit, two RBI and one steal. Chase Butler had one run, two walks and two steals.
Butler was the winning pitcher as he faced 20 batters in five innings. He allowed one run (unearned) on one hit and two walks. He finished with seven strikeouts.
Roberts pitched one inning of relief as he faced three batters, allowing no runs or hits.
