Whiteoak Lady Wildcats end season in sectionals

The Whiteoak Lady Wildcats volleyball team had their season come to a close on Monday evening, falling in the sectional round of the 2017 Division IV SE District Tournament.

WHS lost their opening round match at Paint Valley, falling to the Lady Bearcats in three straight sets.

Whiteoak lost by scores of 25-9, 26-24 and 27-25, making the second and third games very close against the host Lady Bearcats, as they were the No. 8 seed and Whiteoak was the No. 9 seed in the postseason tournament.

Seniors for the Lady Wildcats are Kytayia Becraft and Hannah Maynard.

The loss ends the Lady Wildcats' season at 6-16 overall, finishing 2-10 in the Southern Hills Athletic Conference (SHAC).
