Whiteoak baseball retires Gage Carraher’s No. 12

On Friday, April 22 at the Whiteoak High School baseball field, former All-Ohio and Whiteoak pitcher Gage Carraher had his No. 12 retired by the baseball program in a pregame ceremony where Carraher threw out the first pitch.

Carraher played from 2010-13, as he was a big part of two Whiteoak Southern Hills Athletic Conference (SHAC) championship teams. In ’13, Carraher was a team captain, and he was an All-Ohio selection in 2012 and 2013.

Some of the accomplishments for Carraher for the Wildcats included the following five season school records: 61.2 innings pitched, 111 strikeouts, eight wins, 68-percent Quality At-Bats and 70 assists.
