Lynchburg-Clay senior Jonah Fenner earns a 300 perfect game

The Lynchburg-Clay bowling teams competed in their first matches of the season on Monday, Nov. 19 at the Highland Lanes bowling center.
The highlight of the night came from senior Jonah Fenner from Lynchburg-Clay, who bowled a perfect 300 game for his first game of the season. This was Jonah’s first-ever 300 game and the first-ever 300 game for the Lynchburg-Clay program.
“Jonah has been working hard ever since the state tournament run to improve on his game and hopefully get back to the finals again this year,” the LC coaching staff said. “Jonah has already made plans to bowl at the college level next year and couldn’t have started off his senior season with any better effort. The entire coaching staff for Lynchburg-Clay is excited to see what the season holds for him.”
The final results for the boys match were Hillsboro with a score of 2720, followed by Lynchburg-Clay (2380), Chillicothe (2175) and Whiteoak (1606).
The girls match ended with Hillsboro at 2128, followed by Lynchburg-Clay (1580) and Chillicothe (1566).
