Team members include Riley Barton and Mia Mercado from Hillsboro; Hannah Wilson from Lynchburg; Georgia Nehus from Whiteoak; Rylee Fawley from Batavia; Anora Hodge from Eastern; Kaylee Baker and Alizabeth Gifford from Mason County, Ky.; and Korynne Blanton, Elayna Kingsolver, Aly McCann and Maddie Stout from West Union.

“I have been coaching for almost 20 years, and this team has been such a highlight in that experience,” Coach Blanton said. “Our girls work so hard in and out of practice, dedicating many hours outside of our practice time to develop their skills and push themselves day in and day out. Our season has been so rewarding as we have watched our girls bring home several first-place wins in their junior Level 3 division, as well as winning awards for grand champions, best choreography and best tumbling awards.”

This end-of-season event, is exclusive to teams that are among the best in their division, and only those teams that earn a bid qualify to compete.

“Our team not only earned a bid to compete at The One event, but earned first place honors to compete at this event. This is a huge accomplishment and a great recognition,” Coach Blanton said.
