Saturday, Nov. 24
Whiteoak drops game to East Clinton

The Whiteoak Lady ’Cats lost an away game at East Clinton early in the season by an 82-25 score.

WHS was led in scoring by Cylee Bratton with 12 points, followed by Kara Ward with five points and Kayla Jones with four points. Scoring two points each were Sha Van Lieu and Liz Edwards with two points each. Making 3-pointers for WHS were Ward and Bratton.

Saturday, Dec. 1
Whiteoak Lady Wildcats fall to Piketon

WHS lost a game at Piketon on a Saturday afternoon in early December by a 56-21 score in non-conference play.

The Lady Wildcats were led in scoring by Cylee Bratton with 15 points, as she also made one 3-pointer in the loss. Also scoring points for the visitors were Sha Van Lieu with four points and Emily Holladay with two points.

Monday, Dec. 3
Hillsboro girls fall to Batavia in road game

The Hillsboro girls basketball team lost on the road in an early-season Monday game to Batavia by a 53-44 score. HHS trailed 26-13 at halftime.

Leading HHS in scoring was Josie Hopkins with 13 points, followed by Karleigh Hopkins with seven points. Also scoring points for the Lady Indians were Kelsey Burns with six points (one 3-pointer), while Gracie Dean and Jordan Moberly each scored four points.

Rounding out scoring for HHS were Mackenzie Cosby, Lana Grover and Christine Page, who each had two points.

Monday, Dec. 3
Lady ’Cats fall to Peebles

In a game Monday, Dec. 3, WHS played at home and fell to the Peebles Lady Indians by a 69-8 score.

WHS was led in scoring by Kayla Jones with three points (off a 3-pointer), followed by two points each from Sha Van Lieu and Ariel Farahay. Scoring one point was Hailey Monteith.

Monday, Dec. 10
Whiteoak takes loss on road at West Union

In a road game on a Wednesday evening, the Whiteoak Lady Wildcats lost to the West Union Lady Dragons, 84-12.

The Lady ’Cats were led by Cylee Bratton with 10 points as she made three two-point baskets and two free throws. Also scoring points for WHS was Hailey Monteith with three points, a 3-pointer in the third quarter.

Monday, Dec. 10
Fairfield loses SHAC game to Eastern Brown

The Fairfield Lady Lions were handed a SHAC loss on a Monday evening to the Eastern Brown Lady Warriors, 48-32.

Fairfield was led in scoring by Brianna Barnes with 15 points, followed with Emma Fouch with nine points. Trinity Huff followed with four points, while Molly Thackston and Lauren Arnold each scored two points.

Making 3-pointers were Fouch and Barnes.

Wednesday, Dec. 12
Hillsboro handed loss on road in FAC game at Miami Trace

In Frontier Athletic Conference play last Wednesday evening, the Hillsboro Lady Indians gained a loss to the Miami Trace Lady Panthers, 63-27.

HHS had five players in the scoring column with Karleigh Hopkins leading the way with 12 points, including one 3-pointer. Scoring five points each were Mackenzie Cosby and Jordan Moberly with five points each.

Next in scoring was Kayden Watson, who finished with three points (a 3-pointer), and with two points was Gracie Dean with two points.

Thursday, Dec. 13
Lady Lions gain road win at Southeastern

The Fairfield Lady Lions gained a non-conference road win on Thursday night by taking down the host Southeastern Lady Panthers, 41-37.

Fairfield’s leading scorer was Samara Cannon with 14 points, followed by Madison Bronner with nine points. Also scoring points were Brianna Barnes with five points, Trinity Huff with four points and Ella Newkirk with three points. Scoring two points each were Emma Fouch and Lauren Arnold.

Thursday, Dec. 13
Whiteoak Lady ’Cats draw loss to Manchester in SHAC action

Whiteoak suffered a 59-12 loss on a Thursday night game to the Manchester Lady Greyhounds in SHAC play at WHS.

WHS was led in scoring by Cylee Bratton with five points in the game, followed by Kara Ward with four points. Also scoring points for the Lady ’Cats were Ariel Farrahay with two points and Liz Edwards with one point.

Saturday, Dec. 15
WHS drops non-conference game to Portsmouth

On Saturday afternoon, the Whiteoak Lady Wildcats lost to Portsmouth, 50-13.

The leading scorer for WHS was Cylee Bratton with seven points. Scoring three points each were Kayla Jones and Ariel Farahay, as both made 3-pointers.

Monday, Dec. 17
Fairfield falls to SHAC counterpart Peebles

On Monday, the Fairfield Lady Lions lost to the visiting Peebles Lady Indians, 55-46 in SHAC play at Grandle Gymnasium.

Leading Fairfield in the scoring column was Brianna Barnes with 17 points. Next were Samara Cannon with 11 points and Emma Fouch with six points.

Other scorers for the Lady Lions were Madison Bronner with four points, Molly Thackston wth three points, Trinity Huff with three points and Lauren Arnold with two points.
