Emma Wardlow honored for 1,000th career point

Whiteoak senior Emma Wardlow was honored at the Whiteoak home court Thursday night for gaining her 1,000th career point last week in a game on the road at Paint Valley.

Wardlow has been a four-year varsity starter for the Lady 'Cats. In honoring Wardlow Thursday, the following statement was read to fans in attendance:  


[[In-content Ad]]"We would like to take a moment to honor senior Emma Wardlow. Last Thursday, Dec. 10, Emma scored her 1,000th point as a Whiteoak Lady ’Cat. In appreciation for reaching this milestone, Emma is being presented with a commemorative basketball, which will be placed in the trophy cases. Also at the conclusion of her career, Emma will join the 13 other individuals in the 1,000 point club to have their jerseys retired. Congratulations, Emma Wardlow."
