Brill named SHAC baseball player of the year; Highland County coaches honored

The Southern Hills Athletic Conference named the coaches, baseball and softball players and track athletes of the year during the 2018 SHAC spring sports banquet.

Highland County was well-represented, with Evan Brill of Whiteoak being named the 2018 baseball player of the year. Also for Whiteoak, baseball head coach Chris Veidt earned coach of the year honors.

Also in Highland County, Deborah Mangus was the boys track and field coach of the year.
