Bright Local athletes excel at Ohio Middle School and Elementary Cross-Country Championships

Several Bright Local athletes competed Sunday, Oct. 20 in the Ohio Middle School and Elementary Cross-Country Championships, held at Dublin Jerome High School in Dublin.

In the boys Division III Middle School race, eighth grader Weston Blair led the way for Whiteoak Middle School, finishing 12th out of 136 runners with a time of 11:33.20. Seventh grader Landen Eyre also finished among the top runners in 20th place overall at 11:55.05.

Also racing for Bright Local was sixth grader Sawyer Blair, who raced in the Boys Sixth Grade and Under (second through sixth grades) meet. He finished with a time of 15:18.96.
