2019 Boys Basketball Highland County Shootout held at Fairfield H.S.

All five Highland County boys basketball teams were on the court Thursday morning at Fairfield High School with the annual Highland County Shootout being held.
Teams taking part in the offseason event were the Hillsboro Indians, McClain Tigers, Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs, Whiteoak Wildcats and the host Fairfield Lions.
The games played were all five teams facing each other for one 20 minute half, followed with an overtime tournament.
In the overtime tournament, the Fairfield Lions had a bye to start the final event. Next, the Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs defeated the McClain Tigers by a 9-7 score. Whiteoak then defeated the Hillsboro Indians, 11-10.
In the second round, Fairfield defeating Lynchburg-Clay, 11-10. In the finals, Fairfield defeated Whiteoak, 15-9 as the Lions went undefeated on the day, including games that set up the overtime tournament seeding with a 4-0 record.
Whiteoak finished at 2-2 with wins over Lynchburg-Clay and McClain. Hillsboro was also 2-2 as they defeated Whiteoak and Lynchburg-Clay.
McClain and Lynchburg-Clay each were 1-3, as MHS defeated Hillsboro and Lynchburg-Clay won over McClain.
