Bright Local Schools is proud to announce an exciting new partnership with HealthSource to establish a school-based health center located within the Wildcat Learning Center at Whiteoak High School, set to open in the fall of 2026.

Seven teams represented Fairfield Local Schools at the VEX Robotics competition at Harrison near Cincinnati on Jan. 20.

East Clinton High School will present "Matilda the Musical" on Friday, March 6 and Saturday, March 7 at 7 p.m. at the Murphy Theatre in Wilmington.

The Nuthatch Solar and Highland Energy Storage Projects recently donated $17,000 to the Bright Local School District.

Fairfield Local Schools was proudly represented this week at the Ohio ACTE Student Showcase as students Kaylee Hurless-Miller and Emerson Zink presented at the Ohio Statehouse. Standing in front of educators and leaders from across the state, the two shared why career readiness should begin in middle school and how Fairfield is making that happen.

The Bright Local Schools Board of Education will meet Dec. 17 at 6 p.m. at Bright Local Elementary.  

Fairfield Local Schools presented a learning session Nov. 17 at the Ohio School Board Convention in Columbus. 

Bright Local Schools proudly recognized Marley Gobin, a Whiteoak High School senior, at the recent Board of Education meeting, where she was awarded a scholarship from the Waw-wil-a-way Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution.

Fairfield High School students who participated in the Nov. 10 ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new Highland Health Providers Leesburg Family Medicine school-based health clinic welcomed Ohio Governor Mike DeWine and first lady Fran DeWine at the celebration.
