Wilmington College recognized a trio of students for their dedication to service and civic engagement by selecting them as the inaugural cohort to reside in the Art Brooks MVP House. MVP stands for mission, values and purpose, characteristics that reflect the dedication to student success espoused by the facility’s namesake, Art Brooks, the College’s founding director of multicultural affairs.

Alumni, families and friends will converge upon Wilmington College on Sept. 26 and 17 to interact with the campus community for the time-honored tradition of Homecoming. The fall rite promises a weekend of festivities, pageantry, reunions, special recognition and activities for the entire family. The greater community is invited to join in the fun.

The Peace Resource Center will continue the observance of the 50th anniversary of its founding at Wilmington College, while recognizing five decades devoted to nuclear abolition through archival preservation, scholarship, awareness, activism and art.

Wilmington Quakers Head Swimming Coach Michael Branch announced the hiring of Emma Thompson as the new Assistant Swim Coach at Wilmington College. She will be responsible for helping build up numbers with recruiting, writing practices, on-deck coaching, and assisting in administrative duties for the program.

The Wilmington College men’s soccer team started their 2025 campaign Friday afternoon with a 2-2 draw at Mount St. Joseph University in Cincinnati. To start their season in 2024, the Quakers bested the Lions at Williams Stadium, 6-3.

Aly Wiseman enters her third season as Head Coach of the Wilmington Quakers' volleyball team. Establishing her own culture, along with Assistant Coach Braya Elsea, has been at the forefront of turning the program around.

After two straight Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Tournament appearances, Wilmington College fourth-year women’s soccer Head Coach Nick Kinder believes in what he and his staff have been building to establish their program. Heading into 2025, the Quakers were placed fourth in the preseason poll with 41 points, only four points behind Otterbein University in third.
