The LaRosa’s full-service Hillsboro pizzeria at 589 Harry Sauner Road, that opened to much fanfare in late 2018, has closed. The last day of business for the pizzeria was Thursday, May 30.
It’s hard to imagine that when Donald “Buddy” LaRosa opened his first pizzeria 70 years ago this week — among the very first in Cincinnati — most of his potential guests didn’t even know what pizza was.
