The baseball season of the McClain Tigers continued last week as they lost on the road to Huntington on Wednesday (May 8) and on Friday (May 10) at home to Portsmouth West.
The McClain varsity baseball team picked up a hard-earned and well-played victory over a very good Huntington team Thursday night but had to hang on at the end, winning 5-4.
Wednesday saw the Fairfield Lions suffer their first loss of the ’23 season, as they lost to the host Huntington Huntsmen by a 11-1 score in six innings.
