The Vern Riffe Center for the Arts (VRCFA) at Shawnee State University will host “Madagascar, The Musical” on Monday, May 15. The performance will begin at 7 p.m. and will be held in the Eloise Covert Smith Theater of the VRCFA.
Portsmouth opened Monday’s game with a three-run first inning, and it was too much for the away team Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs to overcome, as they dropped their 2023 season opener to the Portsmouth Trojans, 4-1.
