SSCC gains 35-point win over World Harvest

The Southern State Lady Patriots gained another victory this week as they defeated World Harvest 80-45.
The second half was the story of the game as the Lady Patriots outscored WH 44-13.
SSCC led 36-32 at halftime.
Ashlee Liston led the Lady Patriots with 20 points. She connected three times from beyond the arc and was 3 of 6 from the free-throw line. Liston made four two-point buckets.
Kayla Seip gained a total of 18 points, finishing with eight baskets and a 2 of 2 performance from the foul line. Seip scored 14 points in the second 20 minute half.
Kristi Beasley went 7 of 8 in free throw shooting, while gaining two field goals to finish with 11 points.
HHS graduate Kelsey Juillerat ended the game with 10 points, scoring six points in the second half.
Leslie Shumaker scored six points for the Lady Patriots. Jessica Sexton, Skye Lucas and Taylor Jodrey each scored four points. Hannah Gobin gained three points in the SSCC victory.
SSCC was 16 of 23 from the free-throw line and made 26 two-point shots. SSCC made four 3-pointers.
Lavonie McEleny led WH with a game-high 22 points.
