Tirrell Cumberland, Cory Copas named new Whiteoak varsity basketball head coaches

On Wednesday evening, the Bright Local Board of Education officially named Tirrell Cumberland and Cory Copas as their new varsity basketball head coaches.
Cumberland, a Hillsboro High School graduate, was selected as the girls varsity basketball head coach. Cumberland, as a player, was a USCAA All-American while at Southern State Community College, and he also played at Ohio Christian University. He has taught numerous local players through his business, TC3 Basketball Skills & Development.
Copas, a North Adams High School graduate, was selected as the boys varsity basketball head coach. Copas previously coached at Georgetown.
