Lady Indians tennis drops match at Clinton-Massie

The final result wasn’t what the Hillsboro Lady Indians tennis team wanted on Tuesday night (Aug. 27), as they lost on the road in their non-conference match to the host Clinton-Massie Lady Falcons by a 4-1 team score.

The lone individual win for HHS was in second singles with Adalyn Gaines winning in two sets at 7-6, 6-3.

Jenna Hart lost in first singles at 1-6, 4-6, and in third singles Natalie Tharp lost in three sets by scores of 3-6, 6-0, 2-6.

In first doubles, Elizabeth Sowders and Taylor-Ann Scruggs lost in two sets at 4-6, 6-7. The second doubles match was forfeited by the Lady Indians.
