Whiteoak falls in tri-match

The Whiteoak Lady Wildcats traveled to Fayette  County on Saturday, where they lost a tri-match to the host Washington Lady Blue Lions and the Greeneview Lady Rams.

Against Greeneview, WHS lost in two sets by scores of 25-06 and 25-16.

In their game against the Lady Blue Lions, the Lady Wildcats lost in two sets by scores of 25-17 and 25-14.

The losses move Whiteoak to 1-11 overall, as WHS is also 1-6 in the SHAC Division II standings this season.

Lady Indians lose away tri-match

On Saturday the Hillsboro Lady Indians suffered two losses in a tri-match at Zane Trace High School, where HHS fell to the host Zane Trace Lady Pioneers and to the Western Brown Lady Broncos.

HHS lost to WBHS by scores of 25-18 and 25-21, then fell to Zane Trace at 25-17 and 26-24.

The Lady Indians were now 8-3 overall, and in the FAC, Hillsboro stands at 3-1.

Lady Mustangs defeat Blanchester in 4 sets

On Monday evening, the Lynchburg-Clay Lady Mustangs defeated the host Blanchester Lady Wildcats in four sets at BHS.

The non-conference win by LCHS saw them win set one at 25-14, set two 25-11, and set four 25-19. Blanchester won set three at 25-16.

Lynchburg-Clay now stands at 8-3 overall, and in the SHAC they are 6-1 in the Division II standings.

Fairfield loses to East Clinton

Going on the road Monday evening, the Fairfield Lady Lions suffered a road loss in Clinton County, falling to the East Clinton Lady Astros in four sets.

Fairfield’s loss sends them to an overall record of 7-3, and in the SHAC Division II standings they sit at 6-1. East Clinton improves to 10-3 on the season.
