The Highland County Workforce Development Program has been working diligently to provide work experience opportunities for our students across Highland County. The Workforce Development Program has partnered with local school districts and businesses to collaborate for such opportunities.
The District 14 Coaches Association has released their 2024-25 All-District boys basketball honorees, with Highland County having 12 players honored, including a Co-Player of the Year, along with one Coach of the Year selection.

Junior Achievement’s IGen Ignition Day for the Greater Cincinnati area has wrapped up, and young entrepreneurs from Fairfield Local High School have taken the top prize.
Fairfield head coach Quentin Williams won twice on Friday night, as the Fairfield Lions earned a regular-season finale win on Valentine’s Day against the visiting Manchester Greyhounds by a 70-34 score.
The Fairfield Lady Lions saw their season come to a close on Thursday night, as they fell in the Division VI SE District Quarterfinals against the Dawson-Bryant (Coal Grove) Lady Hornets, 49-36 at DBHS.
