Hillsboro, McClain combine for 25 All-FAC fall sports honorees; Corbin Winkle FAC Runner of the Year

The Frontier Athletic Conference Wednesday announced the 2024 All-FAC teams for fall sports except football, with Highland County having one athlete of the year and a total of 25 honorees.

Hillsboro senior Corbin Winkle was selected as the Boys Cross-Country Runner of the Year for his first-place finish at the FAC Meet.

Along with Winkle, earning first-team honors for Hillsboro were girls soccer players Kobie Miles, Mary Dietrick and Ella Jordan; boys soccer players Wesley Bailey, Tate Davis and Ryan Howland; girls cross-country runners Taylor Thoroman and Abbey Letts; girls tennis players Jenna Hart and Adalyn Gaines; volleyball players Samantha Tipton and Tylee Davis; girls golfer Emma Yochum; and boys cross-country runner Rason Brunck.

McClain first-team selections included girls soccer players Paisley Pryor and Bailey Parson; girls golfer Kaylin Sterling; volleyball player Kylea Toney; and boys soccer player Creed Davis.

Receiving honorable mention recognition, all for McClain, were girls soccer players Becca Bergstrom, Larah Henson and Kenzie Wise; volleyball player Anna Eikenberry; and boys soccer player Gustavo Simas.

Girls Golf: Player of the Year- Aubrey Arnold, Jackson

Boys Golf: Player of the Year- Aidan Fischer, Chillicothe
First Team: Jackson Oyer and Vincent Haller, Chillicothe; Parker Holsteion, Noah Ernst, Colt Marcum and Easton McGraw, Jackson.
 
Girls Cross-Country: Runner of the Year- Gabby Maranzana, Chillicothe
First Team: Payton McQuirt, Chillicothe; Alli Knecht, Karleigh Cooper and Kamika Bennett, Miami Trace; Taylor Thoroman and Abbey Letts, Hillsboro.

Boys Cross-Country: Runner of the Year- Corbin Winkle, Hillsboro
First Team: Daniel Hurff, Jayden Beverly, Noah Flores and Tim Kessler, Chillicothe; Matthew Gibson, Jackson; and Rason Brunck, Hillsboro.

Girls Tennis: Player of the Year- Bella Flores, Chillicothe
First Team: Judea Harding, Avery Miller and Kynze Bayes, Chillicothe; Jenna Hart and Adalyn Gaines, Hillsboro; Ava Shull, Miami Trace; Cambry Brown and Kate Bailey, Washington.
Honorable Mention: Kielyn Daugherty, Miami Trace; Lauren Carper, Jackson; and Thao Nguyen, Chillicothe.

Girls Volleyball: Player of the Year- Addyson Butts, Miami Trace
First Team: Evelyn Hamman, Grace Townsend and Miranda McCloy, Chillicothe; Kylie Yeazel and Sydney Carter, Miami Trace; Samantha Tipton and Tylee Davis, Hillsboro; Maggie Wall, Washington; and Kylea Toney, McClain.
Honorable Mention: Kaylin Sheppard, Jackson; Cecilia Robinson, Miami Trace  and Anna Eikenberry, McClain.

Girls Soccer: Player of the Year- Kiera Archer, Chillicothe
First Team: Sydney Carpenter and Braelyn Brennan, Jackson; Kobie Miles, Mary Dietrick and Ella Jordan, Hillsboro; Alex Erslan and Addy Mendel, Chillicothe; Hailey Webster, Karleigh Cooper and Isabelle DeBruin, Miami Trace; Paisley Pryor and Bailey Parson, McClain; and Calee Ellars, Washington.
