Lions fall to Eastern Warriors

The Fairfield Lions boys bowling team lost their SHAC contest against the Eastern Warriors by a margin of 2,307 to 1,640 pins.

The Lions were led by Raymond Gleadle with a score of 390 pins (200, 190), and next was Liam Hughes at 315 (118, 197).

The rest of the FHS scoring included Ethan Bartley at 213 (97, 116), Joshua White at 186 (102, 84), Titan Crowder (77) and Kobe Reid (74).

Fairfield’s regular game total was 1,255, and their Baker game total was 385 (119, 139, 127). Eastern’s leader was Zein Newton at 458.

The Warriors’ regular game total was 1,849, and their Baker game total was 458.

Fairfield loses to Eastern in SHAC action

Fairfield girls bowling lost a SHAC game on Thursday, Dec. 12 to the Eastern Lady Warriors 1,989 to 1,509.

The Lady Lions had a top score of 310 from McKinley Cox (167, 143), and she was followed in scoring by Jayden Howard at 304 (158, 146).

Madelyn Wiseman had a 230 score (109, 121), and the rest of the scoring was Caitlyn Feeser at 203 (99, 104), Zoey Carver at 80 and Eloise Roehm at 60.

Fairfield’s regular game total was 1187 and their Baker game scores were 123, 79 and 120 for a total of 322.

Lady Mustangs win against Western Brown

The Lynchburg-Clay Lady Mustangs defeated the Western Brown Lady Broncos in non-conference play by a 2,042 to 2,009 final score.

LCHS was led in scoring by Kylee Chaney at 345 (151, 194). The next high scorer was Kylie O’Connor at 338 (186, 152), and Morgan Baker followed at 314 (144, 170).

The rest of the LCHS scoring were Maddie Brault at 311 (120, 191) and Madison Baker at 292 (146, 146).

LC’s regular game scoring was 1,600, and their Baker game total was 442 (155, 127, 160).

Mustangs drop match to Western Brown

In a non-conference bowling match on Thursday (Dec. 12) the Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs lost to the Western Brown Broncos 2490 to 2481.

The Mustangs’ top scorer was Cameron Schultz at 453 (202, 251), followed next by Frank Bullins at 407 (203, 204).

LCHS also had Damien Fry score 386 (186, 200), and the rest of the scoring included Caden Faust at 362 (198, 164) and Noah Bitzer at 298 (169, 129).

The regular game total for LCHS was 1,906, and their Baker game total was 575 (209, 191, 175).

Whiteoak wins against Fayetteville

The Whiteoak boys bowling team gained a valuable SHAC win on Thursday (Dec. 12) by defeating the Fayetteville Rockets, 2,140 to 2,188.

The Wildcats had a high score from Cody Richards at 371 (158, 213). Nicholi Wing was next in scoring at 370 (189, 181), and Connor Wiscarver finished with a 325 score (162, 163).

WHS had Macaulay Wing with a score of 322 (176, 146), and the rest of the final scoring were Austin Richard (126) and Eliyah Lyonns (115).

The regular game total for WHS was 1,629, and the Baker game score was 511 (180, 203, 128).

Whiteoak takes down Fayetteville

The Whiteoak Lady Wildcats were the winners in their SHAC match on Thursday (Dec. 12) by defeating the Fayetteville Lady Rockets, 1,983 to 1,616.

Whiteoak’s top scorer was Matalynn Conrad with a 381 score (167, 214), and then it was Shauna Brown with a total of 341 pins (198, 143).

The rest of the scoring for WHS was Trulie Lamb at 308 (148, 160), Madison Davidson at 289 (128, 161) and Olivia Michaels at 270 (141, 129).

The regular game total for WHS was 1,589, and their Baker game total was 394 (125, 132, 137).

Mustangs defeat Lions in SHAC rivalry battle

The Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs took on their Highland County rival and SHAC counterpart, the Fairfield Lions on Monday, where the Mustangs scored 2,558 pins to Fairfield’s 1,579 pins for the conference win.

LCHS had three players with at least 400-plus pins, starting with Frank Bullins at 472 pins (226, 246), followed by Damien Fry at 425 pins (208, 217) and Cameron Schultz at 423 (226, 197).

Also for the Mustangs, scores included Caden Faust at 343 (171, 172) and Noah Bitzer at 287 (135, 152).

The regular game total for the Mustangs was 1,950 with a Baker games total of 608 (184, 256, 168).

The Fairfield Lions were led by Liam Hughes at 293 (137, 156), followed by Ethan Bartley at 250 (104, 146). The rest of the Fairfield scoring was Kobe Reid at 216 (101, 115), Joshua White (160), Raymond Gleadle (157) and Titan Crowder (123).

Fairfield’s regular game total was 1199, and their Baker game total was 380 (111, 130, 139).

Hillsboro wins against McClain

The Hillsboro Indians boys bowling team won a FAC match against the McClain Tigers 2,865 to 2,090 on Monday.

Hillsboro was led by Andrew Tomko at 496 (238, 258), and next was Camden Lively at 453 (246, 207). The rest of Hillsboro’s score were Brayden Hall at 440 (227, 213), Aidan Lemaster at 425 (231, 194) and Zach Burwinkel at 416 (228, 188).

For MHS they were led by Dart Stovall at 467 (234, 233), and next was Cullen Beatty at 384 (198, 186). The Tigers also had the following scoring: Dawson McMurry 311 (112, 199), Carson Coonrod 252 (144, 108) and Shayne Adams 248 (103, 145).

HHS girls win against McClain

Hillsboro girls bowling team defeated the McClain Lady Tigers, 2,255 to 2,064 for the FAC win on Monday.

The Lady Indians were led by Sid Bayless at 410 (214, 196), and then the next highest score was Rylee Moyer at 346 (168, 178). HHS also had the following scores: Rylie Ison at 344 (155, 189), Cami Miller 226 and Madi Nichols at 131.

The Lady Tigers had a high score from Natalie Stroud at 456 (212, 244), and next was Bailey Mitchell at 302 (146, 156). McClain’s scoring also included: Ashley Mitchell 272 (161, 111), Miya Cook at 165 and Sarah Easter at 136.

Lady Mustangs defeat Fairfield

The Lynchburg-Clay girls bowling team won against a rival, the Fairfield Lady Lions, by a 2,272 to 1,557 score on Monday (Dec. 16).

LCHS scores included a top score of 408 by Kylee Chaney (224, 184), and next was Morgan Baker at 362 (167, 195).

Madison Baker totaled a score of 353 pins (116, 187), and Kylie O’Connor had a score of 325 (174, 151). Maddie Brault finished with a score of 286 (158, 128).

The Lady Mustangs’ regular game score was 1,734, while their Baker game total was 538 (158, 200, 180).

Fairfield’s top scorer was McKinley Cox at 335 (180, 155), and from there the Lady Lions’ scoring included Jayden Howard 287 (148, 139), Caitlyn Feeser at 247 (132, 115), Zoey Carver at 192 (98, 94) and Eloise Roehm at 143 (76, 67).

Fairfield’s regular game total was 1,204, and their Baker game total was 353 (127, 105, 121).

McClain defeats Chillicothe

The McClain Tigers won a FAC match against the Chillicothe Cavaliers by a score of 1,859 to 1,604.

McClain totals included Dart Stovall 357 (166,191), Cullen Beatty 353 (174, 179), Dawson McMurray 287 (153, 134), Carson Coonrod 248 (96, 152) and Shayne Adams 223 (109,114).

Lady Tigers defeat Chillicothe

The McClain Lady Tigers bowling team won their FAC contest against Chillicothe Tuesday by a 1,868 to 1,453 score.

McClain scores in the win were: Miya Cook 382 (188, 194), Natalie Stroud 366 (182, 184), Ashley Mitchell 261 (117, 144), Bailey Mitchell 250 (128, 122) and Sarah Easter 137.

Lynchburg-Clay takes SHAC win against Ripley

The Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs earned a SHAC win Wednesday over the Ripley Blue Jays, 1,936 pins to 1,757 pins, for a SHAC victory.

LCHS saw Cameron Schultz be the top scorer at 318 (115, 203), and then it was Noah Bitzer with a score of 306 (138, 168).

From there, the Mustangs had a 297 score (131, 166) by Caden Faust, and the rest of the final scoring was Frank Bullins at 278 (135, 143) and Damien Fry at 270 (134, 136).

LC’s regular game total was 1,469, and their Baker game score was 467 (153, 179, 135).

LCHS wins vs. Lady Blue Jays

It was another winning effort in SHAC play for the Lynchburg-Clay Lady Mustangs on Wednesday as they won against the Ripley Lady Blue Jays, 1,754 pins to 1,291 pins.

LCHS finished with Madison Baker leading the way with 327 pins (139, 188), and next was Maddie Brault at 293 (158, 135).

From there, the Lady Mustangs had the following scoring: Morgan Baker at 273 (158, 115), Kylee Chaney at 265 (142, 123) and Kylie O’Connor at 234 (119, 115).

LC’s regular game total was 1,392, and their Baker game total was 362 (135, 114, 113).
