12 Highland County boys players, 1 coach earn Coaches All-District recognition

The District 14 Coaches Association has released their 2024-25 All-District boys basketball honorees, with Highland County having 12 players honored, including a Co-Player of the Year, along with one Coach of the Year selection.

Leading the way for Highland County with first-team recognition were Hillsboro senior Tate Davis and HHS sophomore Jack Howland in Divisions III and IV (combined list), as well as Lynchburg-Clay junior Denver Clinton in Div. VI, and Fairfield sophomore Brody Smith in Division VII. Davis was selected as Co-Player of the Year in Division IV, along with Unioto’s Blake Fitch.
 

Fairfield head coach Quentin Williams was named Division VII Tri-Coach of the Year.

Named to the second team in Div. VII were Fairfield senior Logan McIntosh and Whiteoak senior Zander Roades.

Third-team players from Highland County included McClain’s Zane Adams in Division III/IV.

Receiving Honorable Mention recognition were Hillsboro’s Tre Captain (Div. III/IV), McClain’s Jordan Bell (Div. III/IV), Lynchburg-Clay’s Cody Bell (Div. VI), Fairfield’s Griffin Friend (Div. VII) and Whiteoak’s Brady Brandenburg (Div. VII).
