Moon, Stahlhut each set career milestones for Fairfield

In a recent match, two Fairfield Lady Lions achieved career milestones for their play on the volleyball court.
Fairfield senior Remi Moon became the program’s all-time leader in aces, as she now has over 205 aces for her career. FHS junior Paisley Stahlhut earned her 1,000th career assist for her career milestone.
As for their team play, the Lady Lions defeated the Manchester Lady Greyhounds in three sets for a SHAC win on Thursday evening at FHS.
FHS won by scores of 25-13, 25-11 and 25-21.
Fairfield had 35 kills, 34 assists, 11 aces, 47 digs and four blocks in their winning effort.
Moon ended the match with 22 kills, two assists, three aces, nine digs and a block. Stahlhut collected one kill, 31 assists, one ace and nine digs.
Senior Emma Ayers finished with nine digs, while teammate senior Alyssa Bales finished the match with one kill, one ace and nine digs.
Freshman Brynlee Barrera had one kill and one dig. Junior Addison Cannon ended the match with two aces and two digs. Sophomore Bailey Jones had four kills in the victory, plus she added three blocks.
Junior Jorja May collected three kills, two aces and seven digs. Freshman Laural McCoy had one kill for the Lady Lions. Junior Hadley Weddle finished with two kills, two aces and one dig.
