Premier Showmen members shine at Ohio State Fair

Members of the Premier Showmen 4-H Club proudly represented Highland County at the Ohio State Fair, bringing home top awards and honors across a variety of contests and shows.
Kennedy Hamilton had an outstanding week, earning 10th place in Skillathon, 4th in breeding beef Showmanship, an Outstanding Record Book award, Reserve Division Champion in the Open Show Breeding Show, and Grand Champion Bred & Owned AOB in the Junior beef Show.
Casien Giordano excelled in the beef feeder show, placing 1st in the open class and finishing 4th overall. Bryaden Cummings exhibited his heifer, earning 3rd place in class, while also placing 2nd in the Beef Skillathon, 5th in Showmanship, and claiming Champion Bred & Owned Chi Female honors. Christian Cummings placed 2nd in class with his heifer and finished 8th in Showmanship.
Carly Sanders captured the title of Grand Champion Charolais Female and placed 2nd in Showmanship. Austin Bohrer earned multiple top placings, including 3rd in the Beef Skillathon, 1st and 5th with breeding heifers, winning his division, 4th in Junior Market Showmanship, and 5th with his feeder calf.
Dwight Phillip placed 5th with his prospect feeder calf, while Brooklynn Hamilton earned 3rd in the same division.
Wyatt Osborn brought home the Reserve Grand Champion title with his prospect feeder calf.
Blake Osborn also excelled, winning Grand Champion Bred & Owned Shorthorn Plus Female, 1st place in Skillathon for his age division, and an Outstanding Record Book award.
The Premier Showmen are proud of their members’ hard work, dedication, and achievements at the state level, showcasing the strength of Highland County youth in the beef industry.
