Premier Showmen 4-H Club members participated in a Sheep Showmanship Clinic on July 25 at the home of club member Payton Luschek. The educational clinic provided youth with the opportunity to enhance their sheep showmanship skills while preparing for the upcoming fair season.
Throughout the clinic, members learned valuable techniques for presenting their sheep in the show ring, including proper handling, positioning, and exhibitor etiquette. The hands-on instruction gave participants the opportunity to practice new skills while receiving individualized feedback from experienced instructors.
The Premier Showmen 4-H Club extends its sincere appreciation to Payton Luschek and her family for opening their home and providing an excellent location for the clinic. The club also thanks Stacie Rhonemus, Addy Caraharr and Sophia Michael for volunteering their time and expertise to teach members and help them build confidence and improve their showmanship abilities.
Educational clinics such as this are an important part of the Premier Showmen 4-H program, providing members with opportunities to develop livestock knowledge, strengthen leadership skills, and prepare for success in the show ring. The club is grateful to the volunteers and families who continue to support youth through these valuable learning experiences.
