The Patriot Public House celebrates grand opening with ribbon cutting

The Patriot Public House, located in uptown Hillsboro, celebrated their grand opening with a ribbon cutting from the Highland County Chamber of Commerce, along with family, friends and members of the community, on Nov. 2.
The Patriot Public House is owned and operated by Angel Mootz, Jim Mootz and Kylie Price and is located at 115 West Main St. in Hillsboro.
The Patriot Public House is a restaurant and steakhouse located in the heart of uptown Hillsboro. Angel Mootz, owner of The Patriot Public House, grew up in the restaurant business and has dreamed of bringing the Hillsboro Historical District back to life. The Patriot Public House sits in the same spot as Mootz’s family’s restaurant, Prime Cut, which was owned by Vickie and Orville Reffitt.
The Patriot Public House offers a wide selection of steaks, smoked meats, shareables, draft beers and handcrafted cocktails.
