New Hope Baptist Church celebrating 171st anniversary Aug. 31

New Hope Baptist Church in Hillsboro is celebrating its 171st anniversary with a worship service at noon Sunday, Aug. 31 with guest speaker the Rev. David Powell from Union Baptist Church in Columbus.

Pastor Tyrone Lawes and the congregation welcome everyone.

The church is located at 128 East Beech Street in Hillsboro.
