Merle Norman Cosmetics & Salon celebrates 20th anniversary with ribbon cutting

Merle Norman Cosmetics & Salon celebrated their 20th anniversary with a ribbon cutting from the Highland County Chamber of Commerce, along with family, friends and members of the community, on Friday, Dec. 8.

Merle Norman Cosmetics & Salon is owned and operated by Rachelle Trefz and is located at 123 South High St. in historic uptown Hillsboro.
 
Merle Norman Cosmetics & Salon offers a full line of Merle Norman Cosmetics, professional haircare products and a wide selection of gift items. They also offer spray tanning, ear piercing and special event makeup.
 
“I knew from a young age that I wanted to own my own business, and I have worn Merle Norman Cosmetics since I was a teenager,” said Trefz. “Since the closing of the former Merle Norman studio in uptown Hillsboro in the ’90s, I knew this is what I wanted to do.”

Merle Norman Cosmetics & Salon is open Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
