The Liberty Lions Club recently held a peanut butter drive. They formed two teams, Team Jif and Team Skippy.

Team Jif consisted of Mandy Hall, Dave Grover, Alex Butler, Eric Wilson, John Hanna, Avery Garricks, Dan Pearce and Walt Saaranen. Team Skippy members were Chris and Lisa Mahan, Meghan Wagoner, Larry Brubaker, Jill Wilson and Charley and Irma Marsh.

The members donated peanut butter and contacted the community, family and friends for help. Team Skippy was the winner of the competition, and the total of peanut butter collected was 500 pounds.

Donations will be given to the Buckeye Food Alliance, which serves just under 1,000 Ohio State students who are food insecure every month. Tony Winters from Buckeye Food Alliance picked up the peanut butter on May 23.

Great job to the Liberty Lions Club.
