Highland County Hoedown held at Backroom Paradise

Hillsboro FFA Chapter

On Dec. 3, the Hillsboro Great Oaks FFA chapter held the Highland County Hoedown at the Backroom Paradise. 

Many of our members from the Hillsboro Great Oaks Chapter along with members from Lynchburg FFA and Mowystown FFA came out to help raise money for a local cause. 

Throughout the night, there were many fun activities for the members to play and win fun prizes. There was a corn hole tournament, dancing, many card games, and a fun raffle drawing with prizes from Canes, Bob Evans, Starbucks, The Porch, Dairy Queen, and Jill Reno. 

Not only did we have fun games and a raffle, we also had wonderful food provided by Jane Chain and Marcy Boyd; it was a wonderful Thanksgiving style dinner. We would like to give a big thank you to these individuals for donating raffle prizes so our members could enjoy a wonderful fun filled evening. 

This night was a great success and it wouldn’t have been possible without the Backroom Paradise allowing us to host this wonderful event at their beautiful venue.
