Margaret M. Slaughter, 95, of Hillsboro, died Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2009 at the Laurels of Hillsboro. She was born May 9, 1914 in Cincinnati, the daughter of the late John G. and Sophie (Apking) Graf. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Earl Slaughter on May 31, 1995; one great-grandchild and one brother. She was a member of the Hillsboro First United Methodist Church and retired from the Piqua City Schools. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Ruth and Joseph P. West of Hillsboro, Bonnie and Robert Sutherly of Troy; one sister, Ruth Coffin of Cincinnati; seven grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. According to Margaret's wishes, she will be cremated. At this time, no services or visitation is scheduled. Family requests memorials to the Hillsboro First United Methodist Church, 133 East Walnut Street, Hillsboro, Ohio 45133.
