One-vehicle crash results in fatality
     WILMINGTON – A one-vehicle crash results in one fatality in Clinton County.

     The Ohio State Highway Patrol, Wilmington Post, is currently investigating a one-vehicle accident on Stone Road, near Spencer Rd., in Wilson Township that occurred Wednesday evening.

The attorney representing Bill and Janet Butler, the owners of the Union Stock Yards, in their ongoing litigation against the city of Hillsboro, had filed a motion to dismiss the city's appeal of a judge's ruling on the case.

Clifton Brooks Daugherty, 83, of Highland County, passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2009 at the University Hospital in Cincinnati. His wife, Viola (Mills) Daugherty, survives.
