Iva. J. Browning was found guilty on two counts of attempted felonious assault, sentenced to two four-year consecutive terms after throwing a cup of bleach in two Sherriff's deputies' eyes. Browning, 44, of Lebanon, was found guilty on the lesser included offense, which are second degree. The original charge was a first degree charge with a 10-year sentence. The jury found Browing not guilty on two charges of felonious assault. Browning was credited with 40 days served. When allowed comments before her sentencing, Browning stated she "was very sorry for what she did." Upon sentencing Browning, Common Pleas Court Judge Rocky Coss stated Browning's attitude was bad, extremely bad. He also said she was a person whose attitude caught up with her, and it was fortunate the officers weren't injured more than they were. Browning's offense occurred on April 25, 2009 when Deputy Ronnie Hughes and Dep. Mike Gaines were dispatched to Hickory Hills on two separate occasions.[[In-content Ad]]
