Wenstrup announces new campaign manager

Candidate for Congress Brad Wenstrup released the following statement upon naming a new manager for his campaign, Mike Robison:
"Mike Robison is a lifelong resident of Hamilton County and knows Southwest Ohio very well. He's on board to help me crisscross Southwest Ohio meeting voters ahead of the very important November election.
"Mike's management experience will help guide this campaign well, and his community involvement proves to me that he's just as committed as I am to helping the people of Southwestern Ohio on important issues like job creation and cutting government spending.
"Outgoing manager Brian Shrive is finishing law school and will prepare to take the Ohio Bar Exam this summer. I appreciate Brian's hard work and dedication during the primary. His efforts helped us to victory. I wish him well in the future, and good luck with the Bar Exam."

Robison is a lifelong resident of western Hamilton County. He most recently held the position of Assistant Administrator for the Hamilton County Clerk of Courts. At one time, Robison had more than 320 employees reporting to him. He helped implement an overhaul of the office during difficult budget times. The office saw its workforce cut by a third, at the same time its workload increased significantly.
Robison helped implement solutions through technology advancements and streamlining that saved taxpayer money while ensuring the office's services weren't hindered.
Besides his professional experience, Robison brings with him a strong dedication to public service. He was a lector and volunteer at his church, St. Teresa of Avila in Price Hill. Active with Elder High School, Mike is a graduate serving on the Elder Alumni Board of Directors the last six years. He has served on the Hamilton County Domestic Violence Coordinating Council, the Greater Cincinnati Public Service Recognition Committee, the Western Economic Council (WEC) Board of Directors, the Council on Aging Elderly Services Advisory Council and many other neighborhood efforts to make his community a better place to work, live and play.
Robison has worked on numerous area campaigns and he ran for State Representative in Ohio's 31st House District in 2010. While he wasn't successful, it was through hard work and building widespread support that Robison exceeded all expectations in the campaign.
