Several volunteers contributed to the recent Liberty Park shelter house renovations, a project coordinated by the Hillsboro Lions Club.

Lions Club member Dave Lowell of Hillsboro said L&L Roofing, Lowe's and Carter Lumber provided labor or materials to the project.

In addition, Pizza Hut provided lunch for workers and the Highland County YMCA was open to the workers.

Lowe's donated 30-year dimensional shingles for the shelter house roof, Lowell said.

Lowell thanked everyone who contributed time, labor and materials for this community service project.
