Trailer a total loss in Paint Township fire
No injuries were reported, but a Paint Township home is being considered a total loss following a trailer fire in the Rocky Fork Lake area.
The Paint Creek Joint EMS and Fire District responded to 11501 Dundee Drive at approximately 9:30 a.m. Sunday to a reported structure that was fully engulfed in flames.
Upon arrival, the first truck from the Paint Creek substation was able to knock down the fire within approximately 10 minutes, according to Chief Bradley George. They had the fire contained before the second unit arrived on scene from Greenfield.
"It was an older, 1960s model, single-wide trailer," George said. "The occupant had left just before the fire started."
George said he believes the origin of the fire was in the living room area, but they have not yet determined an official cause. The fire remains under investigation, and investigators will return to the scene later this week.

However, the fire is not believed to be suspicious.
"I have seen nothing that gives indication that it was an intentionally set fire," George said.
No injuries were reported, although the home, which was a rental unit, was a total loss.
Fire departments from Brushcreek and Marshall responded to the fire, and Leesburg had responded but they were called off before they arrived at the scene.
