Tom Brokaw U.S. Route 50 documentary airs Monday, Jan. 18

The Tom Brokaw U.S. Route 50 final documentary will air at 8 p.m. Monday,
Jan. 18 on the USA Network.

Earlier this year, the film crews visited Highland County and taped a story
of Dan and April Looper and their struggles raising four children in the
wake of the DHL departure and the ongoing recession.

Segments aired in various formats, including "The Morning Joe Show." The
crews returned to two stops on the U.S. 50 route back in December, and one of
those was Highland County to followup on the Loopers. They shot video at
Highland County Community Action Organization.[[In-content Ad]]
