Sasquatch sees his shadow!

The official mascot of The Highland County Press, Sasquatch, rose from his hibernation on Thursday, following a nap from his busy holiday season of delivering the HCP to the community to see his shadow, topping anything a groundhog in Pennsylvania can ever predict.

In seeing his shadow, Sasquatch predicted that temperatures would remain mild, and Al Gore could be correct about Global Warming.

"Al Gore is correct about nothing," HCP publisher Rory Ryan said in a prepared statement.

Punxsutawney Phil did not immediately return calls to the HCP.
