State Representative Cliff Rosenberger (R-Clarksville) was honored at the annual Party in the Park, hosted by Ohioans for Conceal and Carry as an outstanding advocate for gun rights in Ohio.

As the recipient of the Tony Gordon Memorial Award, Rosenberger was recognized for his dedicated efforts to protect second amendments rights during the passage of Senate Bill 305 in May.

“I believe in the right of personal protection, and will stand against attempts to limit this right,” Rosenberger stated.

“I am pleased with the help and consideration of all of the parties who came together on this bill.

Senate Bill 305 sponsored by Senator Jim Hughes (R- Columbus) regulated against the use of hidden compartments for the transport of controlled substances, was passed by both chambers of the General Assembly and signed into law in June.

In 2004, at the first annual Party in the Park picnic, OFCC presented Tony's family with the Tony Gordon Memorial Award. This award is presented annually to an individual who goes above and beyond while working to further gun rights in the State of Ohio.
