Rogers Williams Auto Sales relocating to former Hillsboro Ford site

With more than two decades in the automotive sales industry under his belt, Roger Williams says he is looking forward to relocating his business to the site of a former Ford dealership.
After purchasing the former Hillsboro Ford property through the Ford Motor Company Leasing Development branch, Williams will be moving his business, Roger Williams Auto Sales, just east of its present location on Harry Sauner Road in Hillsboro.
"Hopefully, we'll be up and running there by Sept. 1," Williams told The Highland County Press from his office this week.
The transaction was managed locally by Klayton Juillerat of Nationwide Auctions and Realty.
"This is a great opportunity for a local business to occupy an excellent location," Juillerat said. "We were pleased to handle this sale."
Williams has been in the automotive sales business since 1985, and in Hillsboro since 1990. His business is currently located at 510 Harry Sauner Road and will be relocating to 500 Harry Sauner Road, the adjacent property.
"We are a family oriented business and we run our business with families' interests in mind," said Kelly Williams, Roger's son.
"This new facility will give us the opportunity for other services and to create an automotive center."
Rogers Williams Auto Sales has an inventory of late-model, pre-owned cars and trucks, with a specialty in the area of trucks and SUVs.
"We are really selling a lot of diesel trucks," Roger Willaims said. "We buy all over the country and we sell all over the country, and we offer a bumper-to-bumper warranty on our vehicles."
He said the company does a lot of repeat business among the same families.
In addition to Roger Williams and Kelly Williams, the business also includes Mike Williams, Chris Cameron and Alan Thackston, plus several
part-time staff members.
