Paul Ryan to make campaign stop in Owensville

Congressman and vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan will be in Owensville Wednesday in another Ohio campaign stop for the Romney-Ryan ticket.
Second Congressional District candidate Brad Wenstrup will accompany Ryan at the Clermont County Fairgrounds event
"I am pleased to welcome Paul Ryan to Clermont County this Wednesday," Wenstrup said. "Ryan has taken the lead to restore fiscal sanity in Washington, and now we need to send him and Mitt Romney to the White House."
The "Paul Ryan Victory Rally" begins at 6 p.m. and doors open at 4 p.m.
The Clermont County Fairgrounds is located at 1000 Locust Street in Owensville, just off U.S. 50 west of Hillsboro.
Country singer John Michael Montgomery will provide musical entertainment.
"I am proud to join Paul in the heart of Ohio's Second Congressional District, and we want to show him the strength of the conservative movement here," Wenstrup said. "We're going to show the nation that southwest Ohio cares about the future of our country. Let's do this by showing our support. This is where the presidential election will be won."
Ryan is a fifth-generation Wisconsin native and is currently serving his seventh term as a member of Congress.
He is the chairman of the House Budget Committee and is a senior member of the House Ways and Means Committee, which has jurisdiction over tax policy, Social Security, health care and trade laws.
Ryan is a graduate of Miami University in Ohio.
