PAS Technologies announces appointment of new senior vice president, aerospace, and expanded executive leadership group

PAS Technologies Inc. has announced that aerospace industry veteran Richard Glass has joined the company as Senior Vice President, Aerospace, reporting to Thomas C. Hutton, CEO.

Mr. Glass has over 22 years experience in marketing, sales and new business development in the aerospace industry. He most recently served as Vice President Sales & Marketing at VAS Aero Services Eurasia. Earlier he was Sales Director, Material, Europe & Middle East for GE Aviation.

Prior to that, he served as Vice President Sales & Marketing of ATI. He has also held key positions at Aviation Sales Company (now TIMCO), Interturbine Group of Companies, and AAR Corporation of London.

Additionally, Mr. Hutton has announced that David W. Theis has been promoted to the position of Senior Vice President, Energy which includes industrial gas turbine (IGT) and oil/gas product offerings. Mr. Theis joined the company in March 2012 with over 20 years of gas turbine industry experience in various management positions with a strong track record of success and achievement.

“With the appointment of Rick and Dave’s broad roles, PAS Technologies is positioned for growth in the global aerospace and energy markets,” said Mr. Hutton.

“During 2012, PAS Technologies focused on continuous improvement in order to improve the operational aspects of our business and now, with our exclusive PAS Performance eXcellence Process TM, we’re providing a lean enterprise system that significantly improves on-time delivery and quality, while reducing cost.

"The addition of Dave and Rick to the Executive Leadership Group is the next key step toward company growth and expansion in the aerospace and industrial gas turbine markets.” Other members of the Executive Leadership Group reporting to Mr. Hutton are Timothy J. Puglielli, CFO and Dennis C. Hercules, Vice President Global Human Resources.

PAS also announced that Philip Milazzo has decided to leave the company. Mr. Hutton stated, "It's been a real pleasure to have worked closely with Phil. I will always be grateful to him for his efforts in my recruitment to PAS and for his friendship. I know that everyone at PAS has appreciated his hard work and energy over the years and we wish him the very best."
