OSHP: Hillsboro woman killed in 73 crash

WILMINGTON - The Ohio State Highway Patrol is reporting that a 23-year-old woman Hillsboro was killed in a crash on state Route 73 Monday.
Julie A. Chesser was riding in the passenger seat of a 1996 Chevrolet Blazer driven by 36-year-old Cheryl Dotson, also of Hillsboro, when Dotson drove off the right side of the road, overcorrected and lost control, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol. The Blazer overturned, striking a mailbox and a ditch, but the driver drove the vehicle for another three miles before it became disabled, police said.
Chesser was killed and Dotson was transported to Clinton Memorial Hospital and is expected to live, according to the news release issued by OSP.
