One transported in High Street crash

One individual was transported to Highland District Hospital Friday afternoon after a vehicle crashed into a concrete planter at the intersection of High Street and Main Street.
According to Sgt. Steve Browder of the Hillsboro Police Department, the driver "suffered a medical emergency" while she was traveling southbound on North High and attempting to make a left turn onto east Main Street.
The vehicle went up onto the curb near the crosswalk signal, and struck a planter, moving it several feet.
"She doesn't seem to be in charge of her motor skills, so they're going to take her to the hospital and have her checked out for her medical emergency," Browder said.
No charges are anticipated.
She was transported by Hillsboro Fire and Rescue.
Traffic was moving slow through the intersection for a time, but officers quickly cleared the scene.
