Ohio voters ready for 'Super Tuesday'

Voters in Ohio and in nine other states go to the polls today for "Super Tuesday," the 2012 March 6 primary election.
Polls show leading Republican presidential contenders Rick Santorum and Mitt Romney in a virtual dead heat in Ohio.
There are 419 delegates at stake on Super Tuesday of the 1,144 required to secure the GOP nomination.
Romney and Santorum campaigned extensively in Ohio in recent days.
Candidate Newt Gingrich, who has won only one state — the Jan. 21 South Carolina primary election – has shifted his efforts to Tennessee this week.
Rep. Ron Paul of Texas was campaigning in Alaska, Idaho and North Dakota.
Polls will be open in Ohio from 6:30 a.m. until 7:30 p.m., unless there are voters waiting in line to cast their ballots, in which case the polls shall be kept open until such waiting voters have voted.
