ODOT treating roadways; two school delays today

Two Highland County schools have announced two-delays for Thursday, Jan. 24.

Fairfield Local Schools and Greenfield Exempted Village Schools are on two-hour delays this morning.

ODOT District 9 crews from the Highland and Ross County facilities are working this morning to clear routes of snow and possible ice.

Currently, pavement conditions vary from snow covered or partly snow covered in spot locations to mostly clear and wet.

Routes that are wet will likely be slick, and as conditions vary from location to location, motorists need to be especially alert.

Crews will continue patrolling, treating and plowing routes as needed; however, drivers need to exercise additional caution today.
