ODOT announces upcoming closure of US 62 in Fayette County

The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) will close US 62 west between state Route 41 and the ODOT distributor road east of US 35 on Jan. 28 for a little over a year for storm sewer replacement and repaving.

The posted detour is US 62 west to US 22 west to the ODOT distributor road to US 62 west or reverse. Local access will be maintained.

Court Street will be reduced to one lane in each direction between South Hinde Street and Highland Ave for 10 days beginning Jan. 28.

Also starting Jan. 28, the Tri-County Triangle Trail bike path in this zone will be closed for 10 days.

The intersection of Highland Avenue, US 22 and US 62 will be restricted for four days, but traffic will be maintained.
